He didn’t know how many hours he slept. But when tatsuya opened his eyes... the sun was already shining on their window.
“chinen...” he said while holding his son’s shoulder. “wake up...”
Chinen opened his eyes. “good morning...”
“get up and wake your papa... I’ll prepare our breakfast...”
The boy lazily stood up... and walk towards this parent’s room.
“papa already left...” chinen said when he sat on the chair...
Tatsuya’s moves freezes for a while, but manage to sigh and smile when he turn around.
“oh...” he said. “then we have to eat his share...”
“Are you alright dada?”
Tatsuya sat in front of chinen. He didn’t answer.
“you almost didn’t sleep, the bags on your eyes made you look like a panda...”
“I’m alright...” tatsuya answered. “it’s just a misunderstanding...”
“yamada...” chinen suddenly said making tatsuya look at him...
“yamada was an angel...”
“he’s a fallen angel...”
Kazuya and tegoshi were shocked. Tatsuya told them what happened.
“don’t you think...” tegoshi mumbled. “that the fallen angel has something to do with tanaka?”
“yuya’s right...” kazuya continued. “they came out almost the same time...”
“you’re saying that...” tatsuya nervously said.
“he’s using a fallen angel to destroy our family?”
Tegoshi was going to answer, but a knock on the door made them stop talking.
“they need you on the set now...” yuuki said when he opened the door.
The three of them stand up and walk towards the set....
DAYS LATER...
“you should talk to him properly ryo...” jin said as he drink his 2nd bottle of beer,
“jin’s right... AND STOP DRINKING!!” yamapi said, snatching the said bottle from ryo’s hand.
That’s how they found ryo on a bar. Bottles are standing on his table.... and their little friend didn’t even have a strength to move, well... except from ordering and drinking his precious beers...
“shut up...” ryo said angrily. “that angel of mine... doesn’t... trust me....”
“that’s why you have to talk...” jin said. “we know he has a reason for doing that...”
“THE ONLY REASON HE WAS IS HE WANTS TO PROTECT ME!!!!” ryo shouted.
“let’s just go home for now...” yamapi said as he waved at the waiter to pay the drinks...
“I’ll put this on your tab...” yamapi said. “AND YOU!!” he said while pointing at jin and his bottle. “pay your own drink!!’
“pi... it’s late,,, what... ryo?”
“good evening tat-chan...” yamapi said. Jin is standing behind them, waving. Ryo’s head hang low.... using yamapi’s shoulder as a pillow.
“he drank so much... and well, he passed out...” yamapi said
They got inside... and put ryo on their bed.
“ne tat-chan...” jin said. “can we talk?”
“okaeri...” kame said when he opened the door.
“tadaima...” jin said and pushed kame to the wall. Trapping the younger...
“pi what’s wrong?” tegoshi said when yamapi suddenly hugged him.
“can we stay like this?” pi asked. “just for a minute...”
“I love you... and I’ll protect you no matter what...” jin said and kiss kame.
“let’s stay together forever ok?” yamapi asked.
Kame and tegoshi was surprised... but nodded....
“I was scared to tell ryo, because I don’t want to happen what koki did before... I was scared that ryo might be the one who’ll be in danger this time... and I’m scared that maybe I won’t be there to rescue him on time. I may be a normal person right now... but I became an angel once. And I can do that again but this time there’s no turning back...”
“what do you mean?” pi asked.
“once I become an angel again... it’s impossible for me to come back...”
“I can’t be a normal person again...”
“I’ll turn into an angel and be an angel for the rest of my life....”
Tatsuya’s tears started to fall....
“I’m scared. Because if the time when ryo’s in danger comes, I won’t think twice. I’ll use my powers to save him. And that means... I will leave them here... I’ll come back to heaven...”
Jin and pi didn’t said anything. They just stared at tatsuya.
“I don’t want to leave them... I want to be with them... with my son and ryo....”
Tatsuya came inside their room... holding an basin with a wet towel... he sat on a chair beside ryo and started to wipe his face. Tears fell down from his eyes while looking at the latter...
“I was scared...” tatsuya said like ryo’s awake...
“call me selfish, but I don’t want to let you go ryo...” he continued. “I want... to be with you forever...”
He stood up and look at the sleeping figure on the bed.
“goodnight ryo...” he said and gave ryo a peck on his lips... “I’m sorry...”
And he walked outside.
He opened his eyes when the sunrays hit his face.
“ow...” ryo said while massaging his temples. “hangover...”
He walked outside their room and saw chinen on the kitchen.
“ohayou papa...” chinen mumbled when ryo sat in front of him,
“ohayou...” he answered. He look around... like looking for something or someone...
“dada’s already at the studio...” chinen said and stood up to wash his plates and walk pass his father.
“chinen?”
“yes?”
“are you mad?”
Chinen turn around. “yes.”
“dada’s not almost eating for two weeks...” he started.
“he always cry at night, spacing out... and if you look at him... that you didn’t do obviously... you’ll see how deep he’s eyebags are...”
He put the plate on the side of the sink...
“not to mention you came home drunk last night...”
Ryo sighed.
“you know that dada really loves you papa...”
“I know that...”ryo said “but..”
“trust me papa...” chinen said as he walk towards ryo.
“he’s... no we did that to protect you...” and he hugged his father. Ryo hugged his son back.
“forgive him...” chinen said. “papa...”
Ryo was going to say something when his phone rang...
“kame?”
“ryo!!” kame’s panicked voice was heard making ryo nervous.
“what’s wrong?”
“tat-chan fainted... we are on our way to the hospital...”
“kame!” ryo shouted when he saw kame and the others.
“where is he?” he asked.
“the doctor’s inside...” tegoshi answered. “don’t worry, he’s fine...”
Ryo sighed in relief. But the sudden pain made him clutch his chest.
“ryo are you ok?” yamapi asked. Making him take a very deep breath.
“yeah... I’m fine...” ryo said. “I’ll just go to the comfort room...”
He stumbled on the comfort room and fell down. Fortunately, he got a hold on the sink and forced to stand up, inserting his hand on his right back pocket.
He found the pill he’s been looking and swallowed it quickly...
“painkillers really did a great job...” he mumbled after minutes of heavy breathing...
“ryo are you ok?” he heard jin’s voice outside. “the doctor wants to talk to you...”
“ueda-san is fine... he just need some rest and he needs to eat...” the doctor said.
“can we take him home?” ryo asked.
“you can take him home once he wakes up... excuse me...” the doctor answered and left, ryo immediately went inside tatsuya’s room.
“papa?”
He saw chinen sitting beside tatsuya’s bed.
“can you leave us alone?” ryo softly said. Making chinen smile.
“of course...” he said and stand up. “and if you want, I can have a sleepover at uncle kame and uncle jin’s house...” and he got outside the room...
Ryo occupied chinen’s chair and stared at the sleeping tatsuya.
He can see tatsuya’s pale face... the bags under his eyes were really obvious...
He hold tatsuya hand and noticed that it got thinner than before...
“I’m sorry hime...” ryo said as he kissed tatsuya’s hand. “ I was angry and...”
He sighed.
“I guess I don’t have to explain. Whatever I say now... I already hurt you...”
He caressed tatsuya’s cheek... “I’m truly sorry...”
Tatsuya opened his eyes... and saw a crying ryo beside him...
“ryo?” he whispered and look around. “where am i?”
“you’re at the hospital...” ryo answered. “are you ok now, hime?”
Tatsuya became teary-eyed when he heard ryo called him “hime”
“yes...”
“good..” ryo smiled. The smile that tatsuya wanted to see. “let’s go home...”
Ryo was about to stand up but tatsuya hold his hand.
“ryo, I’m sorry...” tatsuya said. “I didn’t mean to hide this from you... I...”
“sshh... it’s okay...” ryo said and embrace tatsuya. “it’s ok hime...”
“And I’m sorry too...” ryo said and wiped his hime’s tears...
“I’m so stupid to be angry at you like that... I’m sorry...”
“I really love you ryo...” tatsuya said. “ I love you...”
“I know...” ryo said. “and I love you more...”
He stand up and took tatsuya’s hand.
“let’s go home...”
