Fifteen
The ride was silent... kazuya’s breathing becomes uneven...
“i was late...” ryumu said.
“i had shot satoshi... but it only cause his hands to aim at jin’s body....”
“i’m sorry kazuya...”
But the younger one didn’t answer.... Tatsuya hold his hand... but he didn’t get any reaction from kazuya...
“kazuya??” tatsuya said when he noticed that kazuya was staring at nowhere...
“are you alright??”
No response....
“kazuya??” tatsuya said again. Now holding his hand more tightly... but kazuya didn’t react on that, he didn’t even blink or look at the other way....
“kazuya, look at me...”
Tatsuya wave his hand in front of kazuya’s face... but there was still no reaction....
Kazuya had shut his mind down..... together with the fear of losing jin forever....
“is he going to be alright???” tatsuya ask the doctor...
“it seems that he’s brain shutted itself down because of what had happen....” the doctor explained....
“it was like his in a coma... but with his eyes opened....”
“what will happen???” pi asked as he look at figure sitting on the bed.
Kazuya’s eyes were open. But no reaction will be seen on his eyes...
“kazu-nii...” rio said and look at the bed beside kazuya... “jin-nii....”
Jin was laying on the bed.... eyes closed... he was in coma... the shot went to his body, sending his life in danger....
“all we can do for now is to wait....” the doctor said... and he went outside the room....
Tatsuya can’t hold back his tears anymore... he hug ryo and pour his tears out... rio did the same, clinging on pi’s neck for support....
A month passed... but jin and kazuya was still the same.... in coma. Kazuya only had his eyes open, while jin looks like his only sleeping....
Tatsuya was on the middle of the room... together with koyama, masuda, and tegoshi... they were looking at the couple....
“a month had passed... but still no signs of them waking up...” tegoshi said while looking at kazuya.
“i bet kazuya’s eyes are getting numb huh?” koyama tried to joke. But the look on tatsuya’s face didn’t change...
“i’m sure they’ll wake up...” tatsuya said. “they’re not that weak to just give up like this....”
Suddenly, an idea came on masuda’s mind....
“hey...” he said while looking at the three...
“let’s put their beds together....”
The three look at him...
“i mean...” masuda said... “their beds are so far ... i bet they really miss each other....” he added and grin widely.
The other three smiled at masuda’s idea....
“let’s do it...”
Ryopi and the others went inside the room... and was surprised on what they saw...
“what happened??”
Kazuya’s bed was now beside jin’s bed. It really look like a queen-size bed now...
“it’s his idea....” koyama said pointing at masuda...
“but you guys agreed on it!!!”
“hey! Don’t fight... it’s great...” maru said.
“yeah...” taguchi agreed.
“they’re fighting together..... right??” koki said while looking at the two...
“and i know they’ll survive....” tatsuya said while turning his gaze at the two...
“i’m sure of that...”
“where am i??”
Kazuya look around...
“this is....”
He walked fast.... looking at the places he didn’t know that he misses so much...
“TAT-CHAN!!!!!!”
He shouted when he saw tatsuya walking on the other side of the road.... but tatsuya ignored him... walking towards the other side of the road....
He followed his bestfriend by his eyes. And he saw that tatsuya was walking towards ryo, who is waiting in front of a restaurant.... they kissed when tatsuya reached ryo... and kazuya smiled at that...
“wait...” kazuya said. “why did tatsuya ignored me??”
He walk towards the couple... shouting ryo and tatsuya’s name....
“RYO!!! TAT-CHAN!!!!!”
But the couple still didn’t hear him... and left the place... kazuya didn’t saw them because many people started walking in front of him.
It started raining....
“shit....” jin said when he look up...
“wait...” he said and look around...
“where am i?”
The rain continuously poured down on the city... jin didn’t had a choice but to go inside a shop.... there he saw someone....
“yo! Pi!”
Pi was standing in front of the changing room.... looking like he was waiting for someone inside the room.... pi didn’t heat him... making jin worry...
“pi!!!” he shouted and walk towards the man. But he stopped when he saw rio going out of the room... looking really pretty on the that she was wearing...
“rio-chan!!!” jin shouted rio’s name, hoping that the girl will hear him. but like pi, rio didn’t hear anything. She’s just smiling at pi while turning around showing the dress to the man....
He continued to walk towards the couple. But clothes are everywhere, making him walk with difficulty...
“HEY GUYS!! DON’T IGNORE ME!!!” he shouted.
He was going to be near the couple when a shelf of clothes blocked his way... and when the shelf passed him, pi and rio was gone...
“what’s happening??”
Kazuya stands in front of a house... a house that he really knows by heart...
“nii-chan...”
He can see his brother inside... smiling widely at the persons in front of him...
“mother....” kazuya said when he saw the woman in front of his brother... then his eyes widened... “kitagawa?!!?”
He saw his father walking towards his brother’s side... holding his mother’s favorite flower vase....
“no....” kazuya said as he run inside the house....
“NII-CHAN WATCH OUT!!!!!!”
The rain had stopped when jin walked outside the shop. it was a bit dark outside, but jin just kept on walking.... until he notice a commotion at the other side of the road...
He can see a huge smoke coming out from the place... so he walk more faster... until he reached the mass of people...
And there he saw....
“yuu...” he looked beside the man.... “uncle...”
The two had a very sad face on their eyes... looking at a spot in front of them... jin also look at that spot.... and his eyes widened...
“mom.... dad....”
Kazuya opened the door.... but a house full of mess was what he saw.... he saw the empty liquor bottles at the floor... the broken furnitures.... and his mother’s favorite vase... now scattered into pieces on the floor.... everything came back into his mind.... tears coming from his face....
Jin saw the burnt car in front of him... he can smell the mix scent of burned machine and rubber all over the place. Everything came back to his mind... and tears starts falling....
Kazuya look around, hoping that he will see his brother on the floor just like before... but he didn’t saw anyone... he only saw the blood that his brother left...
He crouched down on the blood, sliding his fingers on the stain.
“nii-chan...” kazuya said. “i miss you...”
“kazuya”
He look around, but he didn’t see anyone...
”be strong...”
“live.....”
He stand up.... and run outside... he didn’t know where, but he trusted his feet. He just run... where his feet will take him...
Jin went near the car... but didn’t saw anything... the burned bodies were not there... there was nothing....
“there are still more important things to do than standing there!!”
He look behind him when he heard the voice. “dad?”
“be happy... wake up jin...”
“mom?”
He left the place... he didn’t know why... but his body seems to move freely... he just walk... walk to nowhere....
Kazuya run... he run as fast as he could. He look at his surroundings, and noticed that he was running towards his school... but he can’t stop, he doesn’t want to stop... he feels like he had to go inside... he needs to see someone....
Jin was walking fast... until he feels that his feet was running towards a familiar place... he took the back gate... and run as fast as he could....
Kazuya’s so near... he just have to take a turn at the gate and his in... and when he did turn around....
“OUCH!!!” kazuya said when he bumped into someone.... he’s butt fall on the ground... and really hurt so much...
“are you ok?” the man that he bumped ask.
He nodded, looking at the ground still holding his butt...
“here...” the man said and extend his hand...
“take my hand and get up....”
Meanwhile at the hospital....
Tatsuya was reading a book beside the kazuya’s bed. He look at the time. Visiting hours are almost over.... he stand up and gathered his things when he noticed something...
“oh my god....”
He saw kazuya and jin... still no movement... but a wet path was visible from their cheeks... the two had cried.
Tatsuya immediately called the others and went outside to call the doctor...
On his way to the door, he accidentally bumped jin’s bed. Causing the bed to shake and jin’s hand to fall on kazuya’s hand. Tatsuya turned around, but seeing that the two still didn’t move an inch... he exited the room.
Kazuya hold the hand, still looking down.
“thanks...” he said and look up. Seeing the face of the person he bumped.
“no problem...” jin said and look at the man in front of him....
Their eyes widened.... but smiled at each other after....
“jin....”
Kazuya said and blink his eyes....
“kazuya...”
Jin said and opened his eyes....
They look at their side... now looking at each others faces....
“you’re back....” they said in unison.
“tadaima...” they continued.
“okaeri...” they added and smiled at each other....
