Hey added you again, sorry for cleaning you out of my friends list during your absence from livejournal. Anyways.. i dunno if ive posted anything concrete about my life so my summaries might be clearer. :B

Yah my japanese sucks. Ive really gone about it half heartedly and the result is embarassing. I took Japanese in college but never really studied. When I got to Japan I worked at a company that discouraged Japanese so I used it as a crutch to get by on English only for 1year. My latest job im forced to use my Japanese so im much better than I was but still not great. I can get by in a conversation so i guess im conversationally okay but you know.. still need subtitles, get confused by new vocabulary etc... ;D
So yah..

Well, any new language is a massive hurdle, especially if you're past a certain age and if it's something as complex as Japanese. I hope to learn it one day, but the task is just so daunting. I guess it's just scary thinking about all the work..LOL.

PS. Do you live in Japan now? Is that why you need to speak Japanese?

Yep yep yep, working near tokyo. its been fun for the past 2 or 3 years but not sure what my next step will be. still i give anyone a big goodluck and a bottle of mountain dew for trying to learn a language!
