“Well. I see you decided to keep your hair like that.”
“You look so...unpleasant when you’re conniving. Try to remember your appearance.”
“You’re wearing that? Well, at least it’s black...”
“If you would just learn to organize and use subordinates, your life would be so much simpler.”
“Oh, sure. Blame the mob of angry peasants on me.”
“Why do you need to learn to fight? We’re witches.”
“You couldn’t possibly understand. You don’t have a motherly bone in your body.”
In the end, men were just one of the many things the two sisters didn’t see eye to eye about.
A/N: Inspired by Arachne’s taunt to Medusa in chapter 58 about not being able to get a man. It got me a little curious about their interactions, so I reread some chapters to get a grasp on the continual adversarial feel to their relationship. They simply don’t look at things the same way, so hopefully I’ve brought that out a little here.
I really wanted to add “It’s simple: Want. Take. Have.” But it didn’t quite fit in. Plus, I think Medusa probably already knows that one...
I love to hear comments about my work, I like even more to simply know that at least *someone* has read it, but what I would like the most is for someone to tell me if I've made any mistakes.
