Summary: Kamenashi Kazuya is a perfectionist, a hard-working, schedule-prone university student living in New York City with big dreams for the future. Late one night while he is reading contently in a cafe, he meets Akanishi Jin, a very talented, poor, outgoing and spontaneous artist who draws caricatures of passerby as a living. What they both don't know is that this fateful meeting will be just the first of many more to come, and that sometimes a casual stranger can become something more than you will ever dream them to be.
A/N: Wow, I haven't written an Akame multi-chapter in quite a while. I love the fact that I always get inspiration when I'm sick. This is a bit cliche, but I really enjoyed writing this first chapter and I hope that some people will find a sort of interest in it :) anyways, enjoy, and tell me what you think!
Just as he is about to continue reading his book, the door whooshes open with a blast of freezing air, and Kame shivers, draping his coat around himself. The man who has just burst in plops down on a chair across from him. “Mind?” he asks in Japanese, shaking the snow out of the fringes of his hair.
