Eh. You guys know I don't like doing regular "blog" style entries, so this is what I'm leaving you.
Working on a new story. Hopefully it will be completed by Sunday or so. I will post it here then.
I absolutely loathe the fact that works must be categorized accordingly. In other words, when I make a game, or when I write a piece, it really doesn't need to be given a label and grouped with similar works. So I was on wiki the almighty and ventured to a short stories article. In it was mentioned the vignette and slice of life stories. And so I decided that my belief is thus: Orson Scott Card can write something and immediately know it will be placed in the Science Fiction/Fantasy section of Barnes & Noble because that is what he sets out to write. If something is written with the intent of fitting into a category of some sort, then it should be placed in that category, but if something is written without heeding to staying within the borders of said categories, then it should not follow suit and instead be thought of an entity of its own. Does that make sense?
I also wanted to talk about traffic and my fucking leet job and radio stations and the general populace again, but I'm hungry and tired and want to play Maple Story. Forgive meeee. Wii Fit also beckons.
