Sleepy Hollow Question:
Okay, so:
-- Curse lowered upon family; a daughter from each generation is taken by the piper so her shin bone can make a new flute.
-- Once upon a time a family didn't let that happen. All the children in the family sickened and died.
-- Soooooo...they said ALL the children, right? Doesn't that mean there was no family line left? Wouldn't the curse end when the family did? Was the current family--and the generation before it, since the mother's sister was taken--part of some offshoot? Cousins or something?
I know, I know, don't look too closely at SH plot points, or you'll drive yourself crazy wondering how ANY of it hangs together. Handwave, it's easier on everyone.
But that's been niggling at me for the past two days. It's a question of internal logic. There must have been a Cousin Clause???
I was also disappointed in Crane and Abbie's complete disinterest in who the hell wanted the bone flute. Because, seriously, you two. You're better than that.
