Well, what's been going on here? I made it through most of hell month at the college - at the beginning of the fall term, everyone discovers what's changed, and isn't working, and what needs to be installed or set up on PCs all over the college. So I finally took my motorbike license test today... passed the skill test. Failed the road test (orz) though not having had a car yet it's not the biggest shock. At least it was a safe way to fail - mostly yielding too much, and turning from driving (not curb) lanes. Both quite true... OMG... I was just quoted about $480 for motorcycle insurance... for full coverage for a whole year on a new (2007) bike! This would be my first motor vehicle. My dad has a spotless record collision-wise and he pays more than 150% that for his car... and I haven't even mentioned my defensive driving or motorcycle training courses yet ( Read more... )
