So I have two midterms at the end of the week, one for my Research Methods in Psychology Class (which is complete bull, by the way), and one for my statistics class. Gah. This is why I'm an English major in the first place. But on the day of my psych midterm, I have my short story due. The one that everyone's going to workshop. The one that everyone's going to read, critique, and just about skewer to death. I understand, since I'm a pretty harsh critic in the first place, but noooo. I don't want to. Let me write fic in peace please. Please. How am I going to study with that hanging over my head? D:
I need to work harder. Only one month-ish left of school. But but but. The heat is going to kill me first. I can't stand the heat. Make it go away. Give me ideas for a short story. I want to write a couple if I don't die first and pick the best. So. Anything. Help. HELP.
More music news. I've discovered Bat for Lashes! I heard a couple of songs, and I kind of like it. Kind of creepy, eclectic, and strange. But in a good way, I think.
Other news (I think I rec too many things lol). Full Metal Alchemist the manga is <3. I feel so utterly hopeless and helpless with the situation they're in right now since it seems like there's no way they'll get out of this all alive, but there are chapters like these (chapter 95) that just make me smile. And feel like maybe there's hope after all. Because that was just inspirational. I shall try harder now. Because Armstrong. You = <3 + LOL les sigh.
