Well, I went to my morning classes and got my books, and I decided to order some pizza for lunch. When it was time to pick up the pizza, I went to my car and found the doors to be unlocked. On closer inspection, I found some of the plastic around the window broken and a note inside that read 'Call NOPD. We could not located the owner 821-2222' I also found a picture of another car on top of the note. I have no idea what the picture means, but a neighbor told me that he saw two black men running from the car after the alarm went off. He called the cops and they were unable to make the alarm turn off, so my lights went off (I have no horn, at least not one that works when I push the 'horn button') and that evidently scared the people off. They left the doors wide open and my lights blinked for about 8 hours before draining the battery. As for what was in the car, it's all still there. Title, registration, umbrella, all of it. Now I'm just waiting for NOPD to come here and let me file a report and hopefully jump my car. They didn't core the ignition switch, so after I get the battery back and running, I should be in business. At least I hope so. I'd like to buy food tonight...
