[029] Prefect Duties

There's been an incident that involves two students in Gryffindor and one in Slytherin.
It appears that while it should only involve them two, there are people within Gryffindor that are probably going to make this into something bigger, even more so since there's an existing rivalry between both houses.
I'm going to try to sort this through with our own students, in collaboration with the 6th year Slytherin prefect to deal with the Slytherin student involved. If I need any help, I'll keep you up to speed and ask for assistance.
Otherwise, I wrote this just to give you notification of what has been going on amongst the students in order to keep you in the loop.

This is a message for you as my colleague and counterpart in Slytherin house.
I am not quite sure if you've heard about an incident that mainly involved two students from my own house, and a student from your own on Halloween.
I'll be dealing with the two that were involved in Gryffindor, but it seems that Saralegui Sargon, of your own house and year, was also involved. It seems that he has issues with Kaoru Hitachiin, a 5th year in my house.
Please have a talk with Saralegui Sargon about the incident and see what you can tell from his version of the events. Also, if you would so kind as to advise him to try to not be in contact with Kaoru Hitachiin. That, and it seems that several people that are friends of Kaoru also seem to have some sort of ill will toward Saralegui.
I'll also advise Kaoru to not have any further contact with Saralegui, so don't worry about that on my end.
Though if either one goes against what we advise, we should get together and see if we should give them detention, and if so, what that detention should be. In this way, we can rest easy knowing that we did our jobs as prefects and not get chewed out by the higher ups for not doing a thing about this.
Please keep in contact, and I hope we can amicably collaborate to keep this between only those parties involved and not let this thing blow up into something bigger that might need intervention from higher authorities, e.g. the heads of house, or even the Headmaster.

You and I need to talk. I know that things might be a bit... trying, emotionally, but we still need to talk about that incident on Halloween.
I'll be talking to you mainly as a Prefect of Gryffindor, with concerns about the repercussions of the actions taken between you and Saralegui of Slytherin, where it concerned Jomy.
So please, heed this summons before I have to do something drastic like give you detention for not replying to this official summons.

Holloween was rather interesting, and the snakes running amok everywhere was rather odd, though that was quite manageable.
