Kimi Wa Inai (Your Not There): Chapter 6
"Hey sexy, here's my number" the girl said before handing Jin a small piece of paper with her name and phone number on it. He smiled and waved as she walked away. "Damn Jin, that's the 15th girl today. How do you do it?" Alex asked very surprised. "I don't know, it just happens" he said laughing as he started walking again. They were having fun at the beach earlier, until the sun went down, and were on their way back to the dorm now. When they were almost there Jin bumped into someone, "Oh I'm so sorry. Are you ok?" he said as he held out his hand to help the girl up. "Yea, I'm fine. Thanks" she smiled at him taking his hand. 'She's pretty cute' he thought as he looked her up and down. Her clothes were pretty normal, just jeans and a tank top, but judging by her jewelry he could tell she liked rock music. Her hair was almost to her waist and dyed black and blonde. But what he couldn't stop staring at were her eyes, he'd never seen such a brilliant blue before. "What's your name?" he heard her ask, bringing him out of his trance. "Huh? Ano...Akanishi Jin desu" he said not realizing he said it in japanese until after he said it. Right when he was going to apologize and correct it in english she said "Hajimemashite Akanishi-san. Watashi wa Korin desu." He just looked at her, shocked, then asked her "You speak Japanese?" She laughed, "Yes. I'm not fluent yet but I know enough." Alex looked at him signaling he was going to the room. Jin just nodded and waved then looked back at her. "So....you go here?" he asked after a few minutes of unbearable silence. "Yea, I'm majoring in Japanese. You?" Smiling upon hearing that he said "English. Do you live in the dorms too?" "No, I have night classes and I was heading home when I ran into you" she laughed at the end of her sentence. "I can walk you home if you want." "No, it's ok. I'm taking a taxi cause it's too far to walk." He thought for a minute then said "Ok, I can wait here with you until it arrives." Just then the taxi pulled up and she laughed as his smile disappeared. 'He's so adorable' she thought then pulled something out of her bag. "Here's my number, call me sometime?" she said handing him the paper. He took it smiling once again, "Definitely. Goodnight Korin-chan, and be careful on the way home." As she got in the taxi she said "Thanks, talk to you later Akanishi-kun ^^" then closed the door and waved as the taxi drove away. He stood there watching until the car disappeared, then looked at the paper in his hand. As he passed a garbage can on the way to his room, he pulled the 15 other numbers out of his pocket and threw them away. He didn't need those anymore when he only had one girl on his mind, he couldn't wait to tell Kame about her.
His phone was ringing, why'd it have to ring now? He just went to sleep an hour ago. Picking up his phone groaning, he looked at the name on the screen. 'This better be good' Kame thought then answered with a "What do you want Bakanishi?" "OMG KAME YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT JUST HAPPENED!!!" he heard the other scream into his ear. "You got some girl's number?" he said after switching ears since Jin just damaged the other one. "I JUST...wait, how's you know?" Sighing Kame replied "Because you always do, now why'd you have to call me now and tell me?" There was a pause then he said "Cause this time I'm in love" with a serious voice. Kame wasn't sure how to respond to that, but he couldn't leave the conversation as it was, "How do you know, didn't you just meet her?" "Yea but I can feel it. I don't know if it's really love or not but...there's something about her eyes..." A few minutes passed and he only heard Jin's breathing," Jin?" "Oh sorry, I just kinda got lost in my thoughts but I'll let you sleep now." Thinking it was too late for that, Kame just ignored it and said ok. "Goodnight Kame, I'll talk to you again soon. Ja ne" "Ja ne" he said and hung up. 'Why can't he call at normal times?' Kame thought silently cursing the other. After a little while he finally fell asleep, after turning off his phone. "So how'd it go?" Alex asked when he walked into the room, though he was pretty sure he knew the answer. Jin just smiled and held up the number, "I'm keeping this one." Alex laughed and said "I don't blame you man, she was pretty cute." He smiled again and put his phone on the charger before turning off the light and getting in bed. All he could think about was her and how he already wanted to see her.
"Jin...Jin...okite. Come to me Jin" he could hear a soft voice calling him. He got up and quietly left the room, he was sure it was her. When he got outside he looked around, but she wasn't there. " Jin, come to me" she called again. Without knowing where he was going he began walking to the street. There, infront of him, was a black car with its door open. He didn't question why it was there, and just got in. Immediately the car sped away, out of the city and towards the mountains. Finally they pulled up to a large gothic mansion and he got out. Reaching for the door knocker, it opened with a loud, slow creak. "Come to me Jin" he heard her again as he walked up the stairs and down a hallway. There at the end was a room with the door open, and he knew she was there. The walls were black, as well as the bed and other furniture, but everything else was red. And there standing infront of the open balcony doors was her, dressed in a flowing red gown. The wind blew the sheer curtains around her form making it almost unreal. "Come to me Jin" she said again holding out her hand to him. Now infront of her he stared into her eyes, the ones he's been wanting to see since he met her. He was mesmerized, no words could explain what he could see or what he was feeling. Suddenly her lips were on his and his trance broke. Closing his eyes, he wrapped his arms around her waist and deepened the kiss, savoring her taste. Once again he was in a daze, he didn't realize the kiss was over until he felt soft kisses on his neck. He moaned softly and she moved a hand up his back as the other rested on his shoulder. Slowly she grabbed him by the jaw, tilted his head to the side, and he felt a sharp pain. It was almost unbearable, but strangely there was a delicious pleasure in what she was doing to him. He was light-headed and his knees felt weak, then she stopped and looked at him. Her eyes were now red, just like the blood dripping from her lips as she smiled. Then everything went black.....
