"Please. I'm begging you. Please do it. Please save my son. Please," Himchan begged the tall male,"Please."
Yongguk watched as his husband begged the other male. He couldn't take it, he could stand seeing his wife in such a horrible state.
"Please." Himchan cried. Yongguk walked to him and brought him up.
"Come on, Channie. He's not planning to help us."
Himchan cried his eyes out that night, knowing that his child will die if not helped. Ever since the day they came back from that weird trip, Youngjae has been ill, shivering and fidgety. He could barely speak after that too.
They took him to the doctor and it comfirmed he was sick. He couldn't be cured, even if there was a person who could cure him, to be able to successfully perform this operation, the male had already retired and stopped working.
So the Bang-s went to find him, all in high hopes but the said male still refused to do it.
"Son Dongwoon, please perform the surgery. You're our only hope. Please, please safe him."
"I'm sorry, Mr Bang. I will not perform a surgery. I have retired from the medical line."
"But Mr Son, you don't understand. My child's life is on the line here. So please, we'll pay you what ever amount you need, we'll do anything for you but please please please do it for us."
"I can't. I'm sorry. I, my hands are injured they're not good for surgery."
"But Dongwoon."
"Mr Bang, I'm telling you. I can't help you, I will not help you and I will not even attempt to help you in this matter so please. Leave."
"Dongwoon, this is my child. My birth child!"
"I don't care if it's your birth child or your adopted child or what ever child. I will not help you. Now, Mr Bang. The door is there, please leave." Dongwoon said. Himchan looked at him once more and left.
Once Himchan shut the door, Dongwoon placed his face in his hands.
Himchan tried and tried again. Trying to get Dongwoon to help but all effort was pushed down the drain when Dongwoon cut him off and threatened to call the police.
"I don't fucking care about your stupid child. It doesn't matter to me at all! Also I don't care if anything happens to you or your family and your stupid history even! I didn't ask you to tell me. Also, I don't even want to help your child so just fucking leave me alone!"
Himchan was hurt by his harsh words.
"My child has done nothing wrong. Why did you have to curse him somemore? You don't even know Youngjae or who we even are and here you are already cursing our family. What the fuck did our past lives do the fuck to you?" Himchan bit back and left.

"Hey, Kiddo. Why are you here alone?" the small purple-sprayed-on-hair kid looked up towards the male.
"Hmm?" he said.
"Why you playing here alone?"
"Appa said not to talk to strangers." the kid replied, turning back to the sandbox. The male looked at him and laughed.
"My name is Son Gikwang, well, Lee Gikwang actually. See that kid over there? The one surrounded with girls? That's my son."
"Sik?"
"Yeap, Son Hyunsik is my son." the male smiled.
"So you're Sik's umma?"
"Yeap." the male eye smiled and the purple haired boy saw the resemblance.
"Well, then i guess you're not a stranger then," he mumbled,"I'm Bang Junhong. Zelo for short."
"Zelo?"
"Yeap. Umma and... Noona gave me that name."
"Why? It doesn't even match your real name."
"Zelo is the greek of victory and stuff. N-Noona said it." Zelo paused,"She said it meant great strength." Gikwang saw Zelo's expression change. He himself brought up his child alone so he would know if something is wrong.
"Want to talk about it?" Zelo looked at him again. He stopped shoving the sand to the side.
"Wha..."
"Want to tell me why you're playing alone?"
"Oh." Zelo looked back to his sandbox and started scooping again. There was a period of silence as Zelo scooped it and put it back then he finally said,"Appa and Umma are finding the miracle doctor." Gikwang wanted to stop him and asked him to repeat but the child continued,"Noona is sick. She's been sick since we came back from our vacation and now she's in the hospital. I'm living with my aunt now cause Appa and Umma are trying to get the doctor. They're coming back soon, I think. Umma says they'll bring the doctor back and he'll save Noona. He has to."
"Is your noona alright?"
"No. She's sick, she can't talk, she can't move because if she does it'll hurt and I hate it when she's hurt! Noona is suppose to be strong and she kicks the bullies away and she is smart! She's not suppose to be in bed like that!"
"Would you know what sickness it is? Or would you want to know?" Gikwang tried his best at his choice of words, any wrong thing he says can lead to misinterpertation and it would be bad.
"I already know."
"What is it?"
"C-Congenital... Heart defect." Gikwang wide eyed,"I know they say it's impossible to cure but he has to cure her! He knows how to cure her! He has to do the operation on her heart now or she'll go to the far away land! And I don't want her to leave! Not yet!"
"Her heart?"
"Yes, her heart. That's where it all began. It's tough but we already have a heart donor and all they need is the miracle doctor because only he can do it!"
"And who is this miracle doctor?" Gikwang said.
"I only know his name. Umma doesn't want me to know anymore things. He says it's not important."
"So? Are you going to tell me?" Zelo didn't reply,"I'll treat you to ice cream if you do." Zelo looked at Gikwang, eyes shining with both happiness at the term ice cream and sadness for his sister.
"His name is Son Dongwoon. He's the best doctor around. No one else can do it except for him. And..."
"He retired." Gikwang continued. Zelo looked the male and blinked,"I know. I've heard of him. Before."
And as promised, Gikwang, Zelo and Hyunsik had ice cream.
"Junhong!" A lady exclaimed,"Oh my god, Baby! You gave me a heart attack! Where did you go? Baby, I told you to stay in the sandbox!"
"I know. But Ohmuni promised me to ice cream if I told him something."
"Told him what?" The lady stared at Gikwang,"And why are you calling him Ohmuni?"
"That's Hyunsik's ohma." Gikwang wanted to cut in and tell her about what Zelo said but Zelo cut her off first,"And she said she'll give me ice cream if I told her about how Hyunsik is in class." Gikwang turned to Zelo so fast, Hyunsik thought his umma's head was going to fly off.
"That's it? And you went with him? Zelo, your appa..."
"Said I shouldn't talk to strangers. Hanuel ohmuni! He is Son Hyunsik's ohma! The nicest ohma in school! You can ask umma! He knows about it to! They talked, before!" Zelo said. His aunt sighed.
"Fine. Thank you for the ice cream, erm.."
"Son Gikwang."
"Gikwang-sshi. I'm Kim Hanuel. I'm his mum's sister."
"Ahh, well it's been a pleasure," they shaked hands and Gikwang patted Zelo's head,"Well then, I'll see you around alright, kiddo?" Zelo nodded and grinned.
"Thank you for the ice cream! Bye Hyunsik!" Gikwang watched as Zelo was dragged away.
He waited till they were out of sight then he turned to his son.
"Sik?"
"Hmm?"
"Promise me you'll keep him company when he's sad."
"Eh?"
"Promise me that'll you'll be his friend."
"Why?"
"His sister is sick. He needs friends to support him."
"Sick?" Hyunsik looked at his ohma in horror. Memories of being in the hospital flashing back to his head.
"Yes, you guessed it right, sweetheart." Gikwang looked pained as well.
"His sister?"
"Promise me, baby?"
"I promise umma. I'll keep him company." Gikwang kissed his son's head and the two went home.

Zelo froze.
He froze when he heard his parents couldn't get the miracle doctor to help his sister.
He froze when his umma was crying on the other side of the line when he told him that.
He froze when his appa tried to take over and his voice couldn't stop cracking and he kept on holding back the tears.
He froze when his appa tried to be strong for them.
He froze when he saw Hanuel ohmuni cry when she heard the news.
He froze when he heard her talking to his sister's doctor.
He froze when she cried the entire night and yet try to smile to him in the morning.
He froze when Gikwang saw how he was so zoned out and when he guessed him correctly.
He froze when he told Hyunsik and Hyunsik calmly told him to be strong.
Worst of all, he froze when he found out the Miracle Doctor was Hyunsik's father and Gikwang's husband.
"Then why can't you ask him to? Why can't you call him and and and ask him to come back here and do the operation and save my sister? Why can't he come here and then go back to where ever he is? Why can't he..." Zelo was so stunned he didn't know how to express himself. He was disappointed, pissed off, angry, shocked, every thing, he was confused and he was shouting.
"Because Zelo," Gikwang raised his voice,"Because Dongwoon didn't do it right the last time."
"What?"
"Dongwoon did a mistake and..."
"I don't care! He has to!"
"He didn't perform it right the last time. It, he killed someone he really treasured. And he promised, he swore not to do it again."
"WHO?"
"Someone we both knew and..."
"WHO?" Zelo shouted again.
"He killed me daughter alright?" Gikwang shouted back and Zelo froze, again,"He killed his own birth daughter. She had the same thing your sister has, a congenital heart defect. Alright? He cut the vein too deep and she started bleeding nonstop. It stopped her heart by the time he could sew it back. She died almost immediately. At the 27th hour, right after the heart transplant, after working so hard, he accidentally killed her. And he couldn't take it."
"He killed..."
"Son Minhyuk. He accidentally killed her." Gikwang was crying by now,"I didn't blame him for it. Everyone made mistakes but Hyunsik couldn't. He really really prayed she was safe and just like you he loved her very very much. He put a lot of pressure on Dongwoon because of that and in the end he hated Dongwoon. And Dongwoon left. One day he just left everything and disappeared. I was shocked at first but Hyunsik was still beyond shocked and he was traumatized so we had to move away and, and we never saw him again."
"I'm sorry." Zelo said.
In a way, Gikwang was actually surprised Zelo apolygized. He was a mere child, and he was suffering so much, his family was separated, his sister in the hospital yet he has his manners. And Gikwang hugged him, the male didn't know what else he could do other than that anymore.
Because how can a 10 year old child be so much stronger than he is?

A few days later and Zelo finally meets up with his parents in 2 months. Gikwang was the one who offered to bring him there. He brought Hyunsik in case Zelo felt uncomfortable and they made it to Busan safely.
Gikwang never saw a child hug his parents so tightly before. His appa carried him and the trio hugged each other tightly, Zelo was being hamburgered in the middle.
"Appa, I. Can't. Breathe." he shrieked and it made his parents smile a little. His appa continued to carry him in his arms as they finally greeted Gikwang.
"You didn't need to do this you know." Himchan said to Gikwang after a while.
"I know. But I think I, we have to. Hyunsik promised." Hyunsik pouted but nodded anyways. Himchan smiled at him and gave him a hug.
"Thanks kiddo." Hyunsik hugged him back. He likes hugs anyways, so a hug from Himchan was nice.
They all then walked to the motel and continued to chat. The kids walked in front of the mothers with Yongguk. The two kids tried their best to make him laugh and it was working see as he was smiling.
"Thanks. Again." Himchan said. He was going to break into tears again.
"It's okay, Himchan. Dongwoon has to do the operation. I've seen how hurt Zelo was, Hyunsik too. So he has to, he has to do it right this time."
The next day, Yongguk went to see Dongwoon yet again. Dongwoon was about to shout at him when he finally spotted Zelo there. The small boy was looking at him with wide eyes. Dongwoon looked at Yongguk and he shrugged.
"He was convinced he wanted to ask you himself. I'm just here to accompany him." Dongwoon stared at the child and vice versa. There was silence.
"Will you do it?"
"Do what?"
"The operation for my sister."
"That's..."
"Will you or will you not?"
"I... No. I will not."
"Why?"
"Because I don't want to."
"So you're just going to let my sister die in the hospital?" it stabbed Dongwoon straight to the heart.
"I..."
"You are, aren't you? You're just going to shout at my parents to leave you alone, to let them suffer the pain and you're just going to pretend it never happened."
"That's none of your business, kid."
"It is my business. It's my sister's life in that stupid hospital. It's my sister's life in that donor's body. It's my sister's life in that pace maker! AND IT'S MY SISTER'S OPERATION IN YOUR HANDS!" Zelo shouted. Dongwoon looked at Yongguk and the latter merely remained quiet.
"Kid, you don't know adult stuff. You don't know what I've been through and you..."
"I do know. I do know what happened."
"Wha..."
"I know what happened to you. Why you retired and why you left, I know them all. I don't need to explain it to you cause you're just going to let my sister die anyways. Come on, Appa." Zelo pulled his appa's hand and walked a few steps then he continued,"I DON'T NEED TO EXPLAIN IT TO SOMEONE WHO GAVE UP ON HIS FAMILY CAUSE HE ACCIDENTALLY KILLED HIS OWN DAUGHTER!"
And Dongwoon wide eyed at that. He saw Yongguk asked him something.
"I DON'T CARE APPA! HE KILLED HYUNSIK'S SISTER AND HE GAVE UP ON THEIR FAMILY! I DON'T CARE. He killed Hyunsik's beloved sister and I don't like him."
The last thing Dongwoon saw was that Yongguk shook his head as his son drag him away.
Dongwoon sat in his living room and recalled what happened that evening and he just cried. He cried his eyes out, 6 years passed and he still hasn't gotten over it. Who was he lying to? What's done was done, there was no turning back.
Dongwoon walked to the motel the next morning. He heard they were staying there hence he waited for them. He saw the Bang-s coming out and wanted to say something but he froze when he saw Gikwang and Hyunsik. They all stopped and stared at each other. Gikwang stared at Dongwoon, pain in his eyes, Dongwoon saw how much weight he lost and he noticed the eye bags under his eyes too. He also saw that Hyunsik was all grown up and he looked more and more like Gikwang. The Bang-s merely let them stare at each other.
"What do you want?" Zelo said, breaking both silence and tension. Dongwoon turned back to him and looked towards his feet.
"Do you really want me to? I could accidentally kill you sister."
"Don't talk nonsense. I only want to know if you're going to do it or not. If you're not, move out of the way." Zelo snapped back. Dongwoon smiled a little at that, he was a grown up man and here he is being scolded by a 10 year old kid.
"Yes, kiddo. I will do it. But don't have too high hopes on me and..."
"Shut up." Zelo cut in,"Go home, pack your things and let's go. Umma said to never talk bad stuff. So shut up and get your butt moving. Noona is waiting."
Himchan cried in Yongguk's chest, on a normal day he would had nagged at him for using such rude and rough words but he just couldn't right now, he loved his baby boy so damn much. And Hyunsik on the other hand hugged his crying umma, because he knew too. We're the boys of the house and we need to do this.

3 years later.
"Zelo! Come down! You're taking forever up there!"
"Umma! I can't decided what to wear!"
"I already picked the clothes for you! Just wear it and get your butt down here! We have to go!" Zelo huffed and dressed up.
Himchan dragged his son down to the restaurant along with Yongguk. Gikwang, Dongwoon and Hyunsik were already there, they was another male with them and Himchan knew that was definately Hyunsik's boyfriend.
"Channie ohmuni, this is Yong Ilhoon. My boyfriend."
"Hi. I'm Himchan. This is Yongguk and that's Zelo." the male blushed and greeted them softly.
Just in time, Youngjae barges in, huffing with a male behind her. He was wheezing and complaining nonstop.
"Jae! You sho-uldn't r-un l-ike t-hat. It-'s not g-ood for yo-u."
"Look who is talking! You're wheezing!"
"Sh-ut up." he retorted. Youngjae rolled her eyes as he sat herself down next to her brother, her boyfriend following along.
"Hi." he said, after catching his breath,"I'm Jung Daehyun. Her, erm, boyfriend." all were silent.
"You do realised who you're sitting next to right?" Zelo said. Daehyun looked to the side and knew it right away, it was Son Dongwoon. Miracle doctor.
Daehyun smiled at him and thanked him.
"It's a pleasure to meet the person who saved my lover's life." he shook hands with Dongwoon and everyone already liked him.
The operation went well, thanks to Dongwoon. This time he did it right and she was saved. She cured acrossed the years and she was up and about within a year. She continued schooling once she got better and she was happy. When she was happy, her parents were happy when her parents are happy, Zelo is happy.
Gikwang and Dongwoon got back together and Hyunsik forgave him. They tried to patch back their broken family and they started all over again, from stratch and it was making good progress. Within two years, Dongwoon moved back into their home, into their lives.
And here we are now.
Youngjae was up and about and she was happy.

He cut the vein too deep and she started bleeding nonstop. It stopped her heart by the time he could sew it back. She died almost immediately. At the 27th hour, right after the heart transplant, after working so hard, he accidentally killed her. And he couldn't take it."
"He killed..."
"Son Minhyuk. He accidentally killed her." Gikwang was crying by now,"I didn't blame him for it. Everyone made mistakes but Hyunsik couldn't. He really really prayed she was safe and just like you he loved her very very much. He put a lot of pressure on Dongwoon because of that and in the end he hated Dongwoon. And Dongwoon left. One day he just left everything and disappeared. I was shocked at first but Hyunsik was still beyond shocked and he was traumatized so we had to move away and, and we never saw him again."
"I'm sorry." Zelo said.
In a way, Gikwang was actually surprised Zelo apolygized. He was a mere child, and he was suffering so much, his family was separated, his sister in the hospital yet he has his manners. And Gikwang hugged him, the male didn't know what else he could do other than that anymore.
Because how can a 10 year old child be so much stronger than he is?

A few days later and Zelo finally meets up with his parents in 2 months. Gikwang was the one who offered to bring him there. He brought Hyunsik in case Zelo felt uncomfortable and they made it to Busan safely.
Gikwang never saw a child hug his parents so tightly before. His appa carried him and the trio hugged each other tightly, Zelo was being hamburgered in the middle.
"Appa, I. Can't. Breathe." he shrieked and it made his parents smile a little. His appa continued to carry him in his arms as they finally greeted Gikwang.
"You didn't need to do this you know." Himchan said to Gikwang after a while.
"I know. But I think I, we have to. Hyunsik promised." Hyunsik pouted but nodded anyways. Himchan smiled at him and gave him a hug.
"Thanks kiddo." Hyunsik hugged him back. He likes hugs anyways, so a hug from Himchan was nice.
They all then walked to the motel and continued to chat. The kids walked in front of the mothers with Yongguk. The two kids tried their best to make him laugh and it was working see as he was smiling.
"Thanks. Again." Himchan said. He was going to break into tears again.
"It's okay, Himchan. Dongwoon has to do the operation. I've seen how hurt Zelo was, Hyunsik too. So he has to, he has to do it right this time."
The next day, Yongguk went to see Dongwoon yet again. Dongwoon was about to shout at him when he finally spotted Zelo there. The small boy was looking at him with wide eyes. Dongwoon looked at Yongguk and he shrugged.
"He was convinced he wanted to ask you himself. I'm just here to accompany him." Dongwoon stared at the child and vice versa. There was silence.
"Will you do it?"
"Do what?"
"The operation for my sister."
"That's..."
"Will you or will you not?"
"I... No. I will not."
"Why?"
"Because I don't want to."
"So you're just going to let my sister die in the hospital?" it stabbed Dongwoon straight to the heart.
"I..."
"You are, aren't you? You're just going to shout at my parents to leave you alone, to let them suffer the pain and you're just going to pretend it never happened."
"That's none of your business, kid."
"It is my business. It's my sister's life in that stupid hospital. It's my sister's life in that donor's body. It's my sister's life in that pace maker! AND IT'S MY SISTER'S OPERATION IN YOUR HANDS!" Zelo shouted. Dongwoon looked at Yongguk and the latter merely remained quiet.
"Kid, you don't know adult stuff. You don't know what I've been through and you..."
"I do know. I do know what happened."
"Wha..."
"I know what happened to you. Why you retired and why you left, I know them all. I don't need to explain it to you cause you're just going to let my sister die anyways. Come on, Appa." Zelo pulled his appa's hand and walked a few steps then he continued,"I DON'T NEED TO EXPLAIN IT TO SOMEONE WHO GAVE UP ON HIS FAMILY CAUSE HE ACCIDENTALLY KILLED HIS OWN DAUGHTER!"
And Dongwoon wide eyed at that. He saw Yongguk asked him something.
"I DON'T CARE APPA! HE KILLED HYUNSIK'S SISTER AND HE GAVE UP ON THEIR FAMILY! I DON'T CARE. He killed Hyunsik's beloved sister and I don't like him."
The last thing Dongwoon saw was that Yongguk shook his head as his son drag him away.
Dongwoon sat in his living room and recalled what happened that evening and he just cried. He cried his eyes out, 6 years passed and he still hasn't gotten over it. Who was he lying to? What's done was done, there was no turning back.
Dongwoon walked to the motel the next morning. He heard they were staying there hence he waited for them. He saw the Bang-s coming out and wanted to say something but he froze when he saw Gikwang and Hyunsik. They all stopped and stared at each other. Gikwang stared at Dongwoon, pain in his eyes, Dongwoon saw how much weight he lost and he noticed the eye bags under his eyes too. He also saw that Hyunsik was all grown up and he looked more and more like Gikwang. The Bang-s merely let them stare at each other.
"What do you want?" Zelo said, breaking both silence and tension. Dongwoon turned back to him and looked towards his feet.
"Do you really want me to? I could accidentally kill you sister."
"Don't talk nonsense. I only want to know if you're going to do it or not. If you're not, move out of the way." Zelo snapped back. Dongwoon smiled a little at that, he was a grown up man and here he is being scolded by a 10 year old kid.
"Yes, kiddo. I will do it. But don't have too high hopes on me and..."
"Shut up." Zelo cut in,"Go home, pack your things and let's go. Umma said to never talk bad stuff. So shut up and get your butt moving. Noona is waiting."
Himchan cried in Yongguk's chest, on a normal day he would had nagged at him for using such rude and rough words but he just couldn't right now, he loved his baby boy so damn much. And Hyunsik on the other hand hugged his crying umma, because he knew too. We're the boys of the house and we need to do this.

3 years later.
"Zelo! Come down! You're taking forever up there!"
"Umma! I can't decided what to wear!"
"I already picked the clothes for you! Just wear it and get your butt down here! We have to go!" Zelo huffed and dressed up.
Himchan dragged his son down to the restaurant along with Yongguk. Gikwang, Dongwoon and Hyunsik were already there, they was another male with them and Himchan knew that was definately Hyunsik's boyfriend.
"Channie ohmuni, this is Yong Ilhoon. My boyfriend."
"Hi. I'm Himchan. This is Yongguk and that's Zelo." the male blushed and greeted them softly.
Just in time, Youngjae barges in, huffing with a male behind her. He was wheezing and complaining nonstop.
"Jae! You sho-uldn't r-un l-ike t-hat. It-'s not g-ood for yo-u."
"Look who is talking! You're wheezing!"
"Sh-ut up." he retorted. Youngjae rolled her eyes as he sat herself down next to her brother, her boyfriend following along.
"Hi." he said, after catching his breath,"I'm Jung Daehyun. Her, erm, boyfriend." all were silent.
"You do realised who you're sitting next to right?" Zelo said. Daehyun looked to the side and knew it right away, it was Son Dongwoon. Miracle doctor.
Daehyun smiled at him and thanked him.
"It's a pleasure to meet the person who saved my lover's life." he shook hands with Dongwoon and everyone already liked him.
The operation went well, thanks to Dongwoon. This time he did it right and she was saved. She cured acrossed the years and she was up and about within a year. She continued schooling once she got better and she was happy. When she was happy, her parents were happy when her parents are happy, Zelo is happy.
Gikwang and Dongwoon got back together and Hyunsik forgave him. They tried to patch back their broken family and they started all over again, from stratch and it was making good progress. Within two years, Dongwoon moved back into their home, into their lives.
And here we are now.
Youngjae was up and about and she was happy.
