omg lol, I got asked by the magazine I work for to do illustrations for a story written by Paul van Loon :0 When I was young (9-13) he was my favorite childrens horror book writer! I had like at least 20 books from him. This is like some bizarre youth dream come true that I totally forgot about!
edit: on further inspection of the story I found out it's basically a complete copy of a story he wrote in 1996 (I reconized it instantly) only with the main characters changed into girls and some stuff left out to make it shorter. Quite dissapointing really :\ but I guess even succesful writers get lazy after having to write the 3464743th short story for childrens magazines. Oh how the dreams of your youth crash down when you are older :'< /emo
But anyway I'll still enjoy drawing vampires and getting paid for it.
