What Do You Have To Say? - What Winter Means To Me
To me, winter means scarfs, snow, hot chocolate, and sick days. It's when I rush around trying to find gifts to give everyone, and I love every second of it. It's about making ready-to-bake cookies and being dragged to Starbucks to get my brother a caramel apple cider when all I really wanted to do was stay in bed for another ten minutes. It's how my parents fill up the stockings the night before and my little brother and I put up our already filled stockings for them at the crack of dawn. Winter is all about nearly crashing the car on our way to our family gathering, getting stuck in traffic so we're two hours late, and then sitting down and enjoying a meal laden with cauliflower, stuffing, and raspberry-applesauce jello. I love winter.
