First Day of the New Block
First day with new classes! All of my teachers seem pretty good though my workload is looking somewhat deadly. Hopefully I can withstand the combined fury of US History, Chemistry, Calculus and English. No matter the outcome, I will certainly have a lot more upper body strength when all this is through. I get to leave my chem and history books at home, but I will be lugging around my English and math books every day.
Mr. Koechling is absolutely fantastic, but being in his class is a bit sad because he does remind me a lot of Mr. Robbins. I think I'm really going to enjoy AP English, even though the focus is on writing and American literature, two of my least favorite things. He's very enthusiastic in his teaching, and I think I may even end up enjoying some of the things we read. If I'm lucky I'll gain some writing skills while I'm at it.
In other good news, the manga I ordered earlier this week may be getting here as early as this Friday. Hurrah!
I'm off to go label a map of the 50 states (again).
