Totally qualified except for not really
Didn't get the job with the State Department either. This time TWO emails from Uncle Sam (or possibly Big Brother) stating that I was qualified for the position, but not enough to warrant hiring. This was a level 7 job (the last one I was turned down for was level 11) that I could do in my sleep. I mean, the duties they grilled me on in the form of quiz questions and narrative explanations are things that I do daily, got a degree in, and have done for the last 8 years. State Department and the Department of Agriculture > Akahoshi.
Next up, I've applied with a Paralegal Specialist position with the Army Core of Engineers and I am going to apply for an EEO position with them as well. Because, apparently I'm becoming addicted to being told that I'm awesome.
