mellow_mel requested a gif of the hair flip and i thought it'd be a good idea for a lil tut =P
i'm not too fond of the process so i almost never make gifs, but i thought someone might find it helpful
there are like 3 or 4 ways to gif and i tried them all XD but ultimately found the easiest is probably through KMplayer (as suggested by captainraydor on tumblr). alternatively you can edit and import vids as images and save them for web if you're more familiar with video editing programs like me (but i only screenrecorded the kmplayer method, will only make the other one if requested)

i always suggest to watermark your fanarts (as discreetly as possible)
and starting there you can add all other effects PS and other softwares allows you to so get creative and go gif! =D
