Dear US Postal Service:
For your future reference, the phrases "Available for Pickup after [this morning]" and "Ma'am, that was a first delivery attempt so it's out on the truck again today" are not equivalent. Especially since you've never made a second delivery attempt in the three years I've lived here. So please don't use them interchangebly in your 'Sorry we missed you!' notices.
Yay. Tomorrow I have to go to work an hour early or stay an hour late, to make up for leaving early today. Why'd I leave early today? I was attempting to avoid the horrible fucking traffic and parking situation at my local post office.
Yeah, picking up the package tomorrow is just going to be a load of laughs. And waiting until Friday isn't an option; they'll probably start the process to ship it back to the sender promptly tomorrow evening.
