Wow, me with a title like that? Something must be going right in this chemical brain o' mine.
I'm reaching an apex in the smaller parts of my life. Tomorrow is my last day at the JOB OF HELL (the job is awesome, actually, it's just the effed up situation with co-workers that's hell). Monday I go back to college. It's been awhile since I've been in school so I'm both excited and nervous, but I think it's a very good direction for me to be going in.
Flight is back on some new submissions after a rejected full, but I remain positive. Either I'll find an agent who loves it and wants to help me turn it into all that it can be, or I'll eventually buckle down and rewrite it. In the meantime I'm actually getting decent amounts of writing done (first time in months! weeee!).
Also, Inception has pretty much taken over my fandom brainspace. Here, take a macro.
But really what this post is about is conscious decisision. I've come to the realization that I really do have power over my life. I get to make the choices that lead to who I am, where I'm at, and how my life is. This is such a unique gift that humanity has, and one that we often forget when we get bogged down with jobs and drama and boredom and HBO.
So here it is, my darlings of LJ (you know I love you all so much, right?). Henceforth, I make a pact to myself to consciously make my life what I want it to be. I'm going to do things that make me happy, things that I enjoy, be with people I enjoy and boot any negativity that I don't need out the door. (Also I'm going to get a tattoo because I've always wanted one, and for some reason never have).
Life is what you make of it, and I'm going to make mine grand. <3.
