(no subject)
I had an extra choir rehearsal today, that took my entire day. It lasted for seven hour. During the time we revised, improved or learned ten songs altogether. The end of the year is very busy with the choir because of the upcoming holiday season - there will be Christmas busking on several occasions, an appearance at an ice ball (?!), and most importantly, preparation for our Christmas show. The set list will consist of 20 songs, including All I Want For Christmas Is You, Winter Wonderland, White Christmas, Silent Night, Jingle Bell Rock, Rolling In The Deep, Chiquitita, Hallelujah and Merry Xmas (War Is Over). We might do Rolling In The Deep in the BGT audition next Sunday.
I just sent a revised version of my study design and other stuff my supervisors wanted me to do for our next meeting on Tuesday. They have trouble getting their heads around the Finnish accusative-partitive distinction business. Elena also asks whether there is a grammatical gender in Finnish in every single meeting. Well, at least it is a question I know an answer to.
My question is: to knit or not to knit? I'm sort of tired, but I want to finish off the first sock of a new pair! I hope the lovely pink effect details won't put Paul off too much...
