I wonder how many people I have met. I mean, really met. Someone that I have talked to, liked, and wanted to spend more time with. I can bet that it’s not as big a number as you would think. How many people have you met that are just extraordinary people? I can’t think of many. Well, I can, but in comparison to the rest of the world, it’s barely anything.
But these people aren’t just anything; they are the best kind of people you will ever find. They are the ones that make you think on a level that you couldn’t reach to on your own before. They inspire imagination and action inside you. Do you remember the first time you met your very best friend? How after just meeting them at 5, 17, 38 years old, you wanted to make sure that you spoke to them again? Do you remember how conversation with them makes you really FEEL emotion, and really makes you THINK?
Yeah, those are the special people.
They come in the best shapes and sizes; they have the best stories, the wicked humour, and the greatest intelligence to offer the world.
Like I said; the best people.
Some people are just made for each other. Not in the whole loved-up sense of the term, well, that too, but I just mean that some people were made to meet.
This is going to be difficult for me, because I am not the biggest believer in fate and the like, but I shall endeavour to explain.
I have friends that I think I fit amazingly well with. We have interests that are so parallel that you might think we had grown up together, shared homes, and known each other our whole lives. When in reality, I’ve known them for little over a year.
This is what I mean by meant for each other. We were made to be friends. Granted, we did it ourselves, through developing our own individual tastes and interests, different beliefs. But we made ourselves to what we are today, and in doing so, made ourselves for each other.
Ok, so it sounds a little weird and romantic, but the best of intentions were in that explanation, believe me!
