Ramdon Poetry That One Finds in One's Files.

Your love comes upon me like a tide,
Smothering me and ceasing my breath.
And I drown in your depths,
Over and over.
Then the tides turn,
And I’m naked again.
Shivering on the shores
Without your deep love and warm waters.

-----------

Lovely days, the kind that
Drift slowly by with sweetened air
And delicate breezes.
Lovely days where all you do
Is laugh and smile,
Delight and warmth filling every pore
To overflowing.

Lovely things that shine and
Sparkle in your eyes and make
Everything around you seem
Special just to you.
Lovely things that make you smile and
Giggle in the foolish genius
Of their creation

-----------

Get off of me.
You violated me once, turning my
Mind to a stinking mass of remnants that mean
Nothing to you.
Touched me once, running your hands over me
Time and again in nasty circles of sin
That wouldn’t wash away.
Ripping and tearing at the flesh that seemed to
Break so easily in the face of
Strength that you stole from me
