TV, TV and more TV

Oh, Extras. How you tried to kill me with laughter. And discomfort. And unease. And embarrassment. And general states of feeling sullied or unusual--often both. Daniel Radcliffe. Oh, Dan. Dan, Dan, Dan, Dan, Dan, Dan, Dan. You've just made some of the scary, squicky and oh-so-wrong Harry Potter fanfic I've encountered seem light, sweet and oh-so-right...now that I've seen you on TV, snapping a condom at Dame Diana Rigg's head.

Tonight's Robin Hood was pretty good. No, really. It was. And not just better than the crap from last week, but actually decent. (Although, it is rather sad that I have to keep saying things like this as it's rather indicative that it's still, overall, crap.) I found the storyline entertaining and engaging. Please, please keep getting better. It hasn't got anything on Torchwood (now into its third ep) which was highly enjoyable. I'm not squeeing over Torchwood like I was with Doctor Who, but even the squee-age there didn't really start until the sixth episode anyway.

I really, really enjoyed this week's episode of Battlestar Galactica. So much so that I'm rather stunned by my reaction to it. I have to rate this last episode quite highly and I'm actually curious to see what happens next week as the episode ended with "to be continued". I am (dare I say it?) excited.

I was also very much in the "you rock, Adama!" mode for the first time ever when he basically told Starbuck and Tigh to stop being such arses. Hear! Hear! I almost dislike Starbuck as much as I dislike Tigh now. Someone has to tell her to get the fuck over herself. Srsly.

Oh, and I'm still giggling at Apollo. Yeah, he lost the weight, but now it's the memory of the weight that's keeping me laughing.

I'm dying (but not literally like those Cylons) to know what the heck that disease-ridden thingie is that the Cylon's brought on board their base ship. Is it something from Earth? Hmm... I like that there were references to Earth again in this ep. I was hoping they'd get back to that.

And what was all that talk about those "final five"? What did Six mean, that they're not talked about? Curiouser and curiouser.

Lastly, my Baltar/Six love still knows no bounds.
