It's finally over. THANK GOD. I have reacquainted myself with the show and the characters. I'm a bit scared now, frankly, because I'm venturing into unwatched territory from here on in. Even knowing about a few things that happen won't be enough to help me deal with TVD's particular brand of fuckery when watched for the very first time. Throughout

4x01 - Klaus-In-Tyler - Trevino is AWESOME, but other than that...bleh. Tyler comes back to his own body, smiles at Caroline for like 2 seconds and then passes out.

4x02 - Molina episode - TC try to have some sexy time; Tyler gets shot in his house in front of Carol (sobs) by a hunter; Tyler takes one for the team and no one cares.

4x03 - Tonkin makes her first appearance as Hayley. Klaus accuses Tyler of cheating on Caroline and Tyler doesn't deny it to play up the misdirect.

4x04 - No TC.

4x05 - OOC fuckery. Skip it.

4x06 - Tyler calls out the Elena > Other people bullshit when the team sacrifices a hybrid that Tyler asked to help them free Elena from Klaus. KC fuckery.

4x07 - Miss Mystic Falls - KC Fuckery. Tyler/Hayley spend the entire ep together. You find out Hayley is playing Tyler by working with Professor Shane. Other than seeing Trevino in a suit, skip it.

4x08 - Written by Molina - Tyler's alpha episode.

4x09 - Tyler tries to take out Klaus and free they hybrids. Everyone dies.

4x10 - Tyler light despite it being the ep after Carol is murdered. Surprise surprise. When he cries over Carol though...*rubs heart*

4x11-4x12 - No TC.

4x13 - Good T/C/K interaction.

4x14 - Written by Molina - Goodbye ep.

Still not sure what I'm going to do about S4. I might need a bit of a break from the show. I did watch 66 episodes of TVD in 10 days so maybe I'm burned out. I just wanted to get the re-watch and aired eps of S4 over with as soon as possible so I could start the story.

I know I'm crazy for re-watching all that shit. I've been getting a lot of use out of that "i am out of my goddamned mind" tag, that's for sure.

And I still don't know what I'm going to do about S4. Regardless, I bought some bourbon my way home from work this evening just in case. I figure that if I do end up watching S4, wine just isn't going to cut it and I'm going to need to hit the hard stuff.
