(I never really knew the words to that song.)
It's 1:42 am. I'm tired. My voice sounds like someone's strangling a cat, and my feet are pretty sore and puffy. But it's 2008, and I just came home from a dear friend's long-awaited wedding. It was a great party. :o)
Happy New Year everyone. It's hard to believe that time is going so quickly. It feels like just yesterday we were anticipating Y2K and the end of the world. Where has the decade gone?
I hope that this next year brings you lots of joy and comfort. According to the horoscope printed in the paper this weekend, I'm due for some excitement. Not sure what I should prepare for, but whatever it is, bring it on.
I'm not going to sit here and list my resolutions, because I figure that once I publicize them, they'll become something to put off rather than strive for. Maybe you'll be able to figure them out on your own. If you don't then it doesn't mean that I didn't have any or gave up on them. It just means I'm already perfect in your eyes. ;o)
Feel free to comment about what you did for New Years eve, and what you look forward to most in 2008.
