Controversy? Why does everything party-bronzey get controversy?
I'd probably go commemorate the decade, but I'd be just plain happy with a casual gather nowhere near the scope of a pbp event too. Some of the best bronzer weekends were the posting board fan parties IMO.
Well, when they first posted it to the Beta, they didn't say who they were so a few people were concerned about them being real or a sham, which is understandable. Then apparently some people had been making plans without saying anything publicly and weren't happy about them stepping on their toes. I think that is being taken care of. And lastly, and I think it's also being taken care of, was this post that pissed off a bunch of people, including people who weren't sure if they were legit.

Wow, haven't posted here like all year...
What OzLady said, there are people that need to chat I think.
Also (taking off The Fuselage admin hat and putting on Beta Admin hat...)

In a completely unrelated *cough* note, remember how La. was the last state in the country to have the illustrious sport of throwing territorial birds into a pen and betting on which one doesn't die a painful bloody death but instead wins a pained and bloodied captivity? The governor is expected to sign off on a bill that passed, finally, to make cockfighting illegal (sadly, that's as of August 2008).
That's good. And two days ago, I heard on the news about a cock fight getting broken up and all the birds that had to be euthanized and all the spectators (including a juvenile) that were going to be arrested for being spectators to an arranged animal fight.
I have no problem with eating meat, but I have issues with this crap.
