By will of God I'm not coming back tonight...
I was kinda planning to drive back to the apartment tonight (I came back home to pick up my hard drive*, a new hakama**, and see Noises Off at Centerstage***), but God has yet again decided to mock me.
Last time I came home Dad noticed that the left headlight was out on my car. We ran to Schucks and got a replacement, no problem. Tonight, while parking for the play, I noticed that the lights were kind of lopsided. Reason? The right one's gone out. >_<; I swung by Schucks on the way home, but too late--they were closed. I'll have to wait 'til morning to replace it. So I'll spend tonight in the freezing basement, on my old bed with blankets older than me, in my summer pajamas.
I'll be a popsicle in ten minutes and not want to get out of the covers in the morning. *Groan* And that's what I have to look forward to when I move back, as well. Well, minus the lack of proper clothes.
Anyhow...
(*)--Dad waved off my offer to pay for the new drive, said it was my birthday present. YAY! *Pets 160 gigabyte lovely*
(**)--Since Dave ruined my old hakama, he's supposed to relace them. He found a place right down the road from his apartment, but unfortunately they didn't have any in my size at the moment. They'll call when the next shipment comes in. ^_____^ I signed up for Sakura con, hopefully I'll have the time off. O_O;
(***)--Noises Off went wonderfully! The cast did great with all of their entrances and exits--and if you've seen the play, you'll know that's incredibly hard to pull off. About the only thing that I was disappointed with was that they didn't do the little tag ending that they did for the movie. I can't remember if the other times I've seen it live did it or not. All together very fun, though!
