Christmas night
Most everyone's done with Christmas by now, but those of us on the West Coast are hanging on for a few more precious hours! My dad and brothers are watching the Saturday Night Live Christmas Special (a famous comedy, short-sketch show) and I am relxing and just enjoying the peace of the evening. We had my godparents and their daughters over for dinner; it was a great time, but a lot of prep work for me. Mom is not a planner.
The "haul" wasn't as big this year, as I hoped and expected. Both my second brother and I are still unemployed, so cost was key this year. I still managed to get some great deals, though, and I think I'll really enjoy the presents I got.

A Brother CE-4000 sewing machine - okay, hopefully I'll be leaving in 6 months for Japan, but I really wanted one and think I'll get some use out of it before I go!
