Ohkay, I'm not sure who all still reads this, but I thought this was as good a place to start as any.
I propose a movie night either this Wed or Thurs to watch the Sylvester Stallone classic "Over the Top." He is a truck driver, he is sweaty, and he is travelling to Vegas with the son he abandoned years ago so that he can compete in the National Arm Wrestling Championship. You'll laugh a lot and maybe even flex those rippling tear ducts.
So, if this sounds good, let me know when is the best time for you all, and perhaps we can get something going. I also offer my house up as Over the Top viewing site.
Hope this works out, if not, I will be watching Stallone be awesome by my lonesome. Perhaps I will make it an Over the Top/Rocky III double feature, because that's just random enough to be cinematic gold. If it doesn't work out, I'll see ya'll on Saturday!
Oh, in other news, my injuries for the summer have thus far been minor: including 1 splinter, 1 blister and one pretty painful and skin removing burn from when I toched the engine of the mower like a complete idiot. So, I've got that going for me, which is nice.
