I GOT A JOB!!!!!
Ohkay, so it's not really a job. I'm a reporter for the Indiana Daily Student.
I mean, I get payed $10 per story or something like that, but I get to write for the paper that was voted the best college daily in the United States by the Society of Professional Journalists. It will be really good experience, and hopefully by next semester I will have my own column, which will put me right where I need to be to intern for Rolling Stone this summer! (Right.) Anyway, I am really excited that I got the job, because I was so stressed out last week.
Right now I am watching Laguna Beach while sitting on my bed with the window open listening to the thunderstorm going on outside. The wind is blowing so hard and it is absolutely pouring. The rain is sweeping across the tennis courts like waves. It's really neat. It's also neat to watch that group of really loud girls who were outside my damn window yelling cheers about 5 minutes ago run screaming for cover.
Talen is so drunk. Holy crap. Oh, and the new episode of My Sweet Sixteen looks fabulous with the divo who vaaahhhhhhhhhms real loud in the bathroom. Oh god, now Joss Stone is on in that damn Gap commercial and she's singing. And I hate her. Don't you guys like my commentary on what I see on television?
HOLY SHIT IT IS RAINING SOOOOOO HARD! IT'S LIKE...HARD. I don't know how else to describe it. Gee, I'm gonna be a good writer. I can just imagine me covering Hurricane Katrina..."It was, like, raining so friggin hard..."
Ohkay, so, that was the biggest crack of lightning I've ever heard in my entire life. The window is being shut, because I am just scared now.
Well, I think my stream of conscious entry has pretty much fizzled out...
So, in the style of Kim and Ashlyn:
Tops:
* My dad and I actually had a conversation that lasted more than 10 seconds on the phone.
* Going home Sept. 30 and going to a movie with my dad at some point (the last time we did that was Bruce Almighty!)
* Gilmore Girls Season 4 on DVD next Tuesday!
* Instead of doing homework last night, I loaded 300 songs onto my computer.
* Cameron Crowe has a new movie coming out Oct. 14th!

* I just hit myself in the chin with my laptop. Ouch.
