And now AK complains about Hellgate: London's fucked-up Multiplayer Mode.

I play HGL for about two hours a day. I'd play for more, but multi-player is fucked.

While I love group play in this game, I really really hate the invisibility bug in this game; for those who don't know, every stage in HGL is both shared and an instance. For example, if you enter a stage with a partner, you can your friend can help each other kill the same monster, but the drop pools are instanced: you can't see what he's got, he can't see what you get. It looks like FSS learned something from their D2 days, except there's a problem: it takes a while, but when two or more party members enter the same instance, they can't see each other, even though they can kill mobs.

This is extremely annoying. I hate it enough that I don't ever want to party again until FSS gets it fixed because when I get into a party, I want to be able to see them. For me, this is about making the party, hitting the hot spot, tearing shit up, then cleaning up afterwards while we move to the next area. Anything that slows down the action that cannot be shot, burnt, stabbed, electrocuted, poisoned, slashed, or explodified is bad.

So far, there seems to be some sort of nigga-rig solution to this problem, which involves making party portals until both party members can see each other, but they have to do this every time they enter a new zone and not every zone allows for portals. The most glaring example are the all-important Hellrifts and the areas within those Hellrifts that have oodles of loot. Nor is this a great idea when your party's about to enter the middle of a fucking combat zone like Upper Thames (where you'll get jumped within one minute of entering because your entry point is in the middle of mob spawns).

Oh, and here's more crap FSS has to fix: dismantling speed. Because the in-game economy depends on scrap so much, the temptation to pick up each and everything that drops so you can break it down into scrap parts is very real. However, it can take up to a minute to dismantle everything because...well, you have to left-click and hold over the item to choose the dismantle option, then confirm you want to dismantle it. Parties are often stopped cold by a bunch of guys stopping to pick up crap, break it down, reorganize their inventories...yeah. What I really want is to make a list of things my character will auto-bash upon picking up: non-magical armor, non-magical weapons that don't have the preset amount of mods, for example.

And for fuck's sake, I want FSS to put an auto-analyzing option in the game. It's not like we're not going to analyze something before dismantling it or selling it to the shop!
