Sadly it's in their terms and conditions of use, and JK Rowling has an army of users to lean on sites that apparently condone images of noncon or just apparent child abuse within the HP fandom. I've got mixed feelings about the whole thing, tbh. I think there's a tasteful way of dealing with these issues, and there are many tasteless and dodgy ways. So, I don't know. It's still not nice to see one fandom getting picked on though.

LJ have been incredibly vague of late of what their TOS on the matter is. i.e. since Strikethrough 2007. They have not outlined clearly what is acceptable and what is not. You and I both agree that child porn is despicable, but the image in question was not. If you haven't seen it: Harry has pubic hair and the \/ shape of a man's torso. We also know that boys develop later than girls and most 16 year old boys are weeds. Harry is desribed by JKR herself in weedy terms. I can point out other parts of the picture if needs be to prove anatomy wise that Harry is a grown man in the picture. (Mainly thanks to your teaching ( ... )
