First off I would like to congratulate each and every single winner at last night's Academy Awards. Each person that won deserved it. Even those that did not win, and were nominated. Being nominated is an honor unto itself. You are the very best the film industry have to offer. Last night was your night to shine, and shine you did. Everyone looked beautiful. Charlize, Julia and Angelina were especially stunning.
I sadly was unable to make it to the awards myself this year. I thought about going since I am still in Los Angeles. I didn't know how I would make it through the entire night on crutches. So I sat at home with the rest of the world, and watched the coverage unfold live on my television.
The box office numbers for this past week are out. Congrats to Jim. I think it was going to be a given that The Passion of Christ was going to come in first. There was much in the press about it and such a reaction it was only natural. My own movie, Twisted, did well and came in at third with a little under nine million in box office sales.
