Weekend
Last weekend was amazing. I hadn't been to the Monterey bay Aquarium in about 9 years and they had this mind blowing jellyfish exhibit. Lisa and I had a great trip and experienced all of the best aspects of Monterey. We spent a day and a half at the Aquarium with wine tasting and drinking before and after. In addition we went out to some really great resturaunts. At the greek resturaunt we ate at saturday night a famous vocalist was eating dinner with some friends when he randomly broke into song and got the entire place to sing along to ghostriders on the storm. We also stumbled upon a dixiland jazz convention in the main hotel in downtown and listened to some old people playing great jazz music in various rooms as well as some younger ensembles. On sunday we ate great food as well and went on a glass bottom boat tour to see the sea lions and other bay life. It was a great weekend together and it was necessary to get out of Davis. THis coming weekend I am super stoked about the SF Picnic Day party and it should be quite nostalgic.
