i had a great weekend.
Family came in from philly. It was really fun to hang out with them, and my 10 year old cousin is a sweetheart. I played so much ryan adams all weekend, that on sunday afternoon.. i found her at my computer.. where she turned on cold roses.. and was singing along to magnolia mountain. I have never been prouder. :-)
i stayed up really late last night finishing up My Sister's Keeper. It was definitely a good book, and now I just started reading... Complications. I love that I am reading this summer.
Today i woke up.. and felt great. Relaxed and worked out.. and then I got an IM from Yuvi saying that they were having a bbq. I havent seen him or those kids in awhile, so I was excited to go over to Yuvi's and Andy's new apartment. We ended up going over to the J and playing football with some other guys. I love football so naturally I had a great time.
i can't believe i can actually say this.. but i finally wrote a first draft to my medical school personal statement. WOO. Thanks to bridge for the support tonight.
This week my goal is to continue working out lots, eating healthy, finish applying to medical school, and start booking some shows! Next saturday I am hoping to go down to btown for a night. Looking forward to that for sure.
time to get some rest.. work comes early tomorrow.
