So classes are canceled for Friday (if I could whoop I would) and the game vs. Texas State is tomorrow at 7:30. Crazy, but good. Apparently we've got a Cat 5 on our hands that's got 165 mph winds and is still going to increase in strength over the next 24 hours. It's the 3rd largest hurricane in the Atlantic in all of recorded history, folks. Katrina was the 5th, now the 6th.
Well, shit.
Anyway, I'm in CS so there's no storm surge to worry about, but unfortunately the drainage system here sucks since the ground is fully saturated 24/7. Seriously, if we get spit on from the big blue then the campus is covered in puddles for 3 days. So, imagine a Cat 5 coming down on our heads for days at a time. That, my friends, is Not Fun. It's all good though; I'm on the second floor. :)
In other news, I have a POLS test that's still on for tomorrow from 3:55-5:10. Woot. I'll talk to y'all later, because now it's time to sleep. And by that I mean study. Right.

PS- I'm probably coming home this weekend just to avoid all this, even though Austin's probably going to be hit just as hard, so no worries!
