Life update
I've not been up to loads recently. Toilet training continues with less effort than I was expecting. Rosie's been completely dry today. She seems to have 'got' the idea mostly. I'm enjoying my change in hours though, it's much easier to cope with a long day wednesday when you have mondays and tuesday off. Work's going quite well at the moment as the horrible kids are excluded from the library due to their appalling behaviour.
We've been well and truly visited the last few weeks. My parents have bought a flat in Bolton which is already being well used. They've been up and stayed, my sister's been up too and enjoyed the high life in Manchester with a handy place to stay.
Anna and Adam got engaged a week ago which is rather exciting. Anna's hoping for a wedding in a year or so, Rosie will get to be a flower girl and I get to be a bridesmaid (for the first time).
We saw Izzy, Andy and Kitty the weekend before. It was lovely getting to catch up with them. Kitty (predictably) has grown lots and is far more like a little person now. It was slightly amusing as Rich's Aunt with dementia was there and she was getting very confused about how many little girls there were and how old they are. It doesn't help that Rosie and Kitty look similar and aren't even that different size wise. Bizarrely they weigh the same and Rosie's an entire year older! Rosie enjoyed getting to play with another little person and has been talking a lot about having a baby cousin.
We also visited Alex and Fliss and got to have an attack of house envy. Rosie is particularly jealous that they have ducks free ranging in the field next to them.
I feel as if I haven't seen people for ages what're folk up to this weekend? We're at a baby birthday/Hallowe'en party on the sunday but have no plans for the friday/saturday.
