attempts to get in touch with old friends
one of my closest friends from high school recently found me on facebook. i immediately sent her a message asking how she is doing and telling her how many times i had looked for her on fb/ms (a lot).
instead of responding to my questions or giving me her number, she told me to call her mom - "her number is still the same" - and she could give me this girl's new number.
she also said "next time i'm in town" maybe we could get together. "in town"? marysville? why would i be there? we currently live 45 min from each other - isn't that in town enough?
and why would i still have her mom's phone number?
this exchange confuses me and also makes me sad.
