The oys continue.....!
The root canal wasn't really all that bad, but Friday night the teeth that are in front of the one that had the work on it, started to ache. Not hurt per se, but they were sore. Then this awful taste started to come from the general area. I called the endodontist and he will see me tomorrow. He's not so worried about the discomfort but the yucky taste he is. He wonders if something isn't sealed right and will give it a look. Honestly this man was so great, he really helped me through all the fears I had of the procedure. The last one I had when I was 17, and it was horrid. The pain was extreme and I was terrified that I would go through that again. I haven't. Uncomfortable, yes, but overall, it was a positive experience.
What else is going on? Well, work is just sort of going along and I really don't...I don't know. I posted for several other positions, one I was rejected for right away, and I expected that. The other one I don't know, and the other my resume has been forwarded to the hiring manager. I know several people in the area, so that's a plus. That's the case with the other one, but it's several job grades over what I am currently and I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't get it. I'm pretty well qualified for it, but I'm sure there are others who would fit in perfectly. I just need to move to another area to be able to grow and there aren't many positions in my range. Most of the postings these days are for very high level jobs that I would have no way of getting, and if I did, I would be in WAY over my head!
The weather here has been pretty lovely with temps in the 60's. It's forecast to snow by weeks end. On opening day. Glad the Tribe won today. :) They beat the White Sox 12-5. Woohoo!
Loving playing WoW and am having too much fun being a fierce warrior that kills lot's of ugly beasts. I've become less rage-filled whilst driving. Do you think these two things are related?
That's about it. I'm thinking of having my coconut cream egg. It's calling to me from the kitchen. Oh yes it is.
