I am on my way to host a booth and a Small Business Expo, but wanted to post a few thoughts on Mother's Day.

Becoming a mother has truly changed my whole outlook on my mom.  My mom is great and always has been.  I can't really think of a time that I have been angry with her or felt any hard feelings towards her.  She has always been there for me and supported me without being pushy.  It is so comforting to know that the love between a mother and child is so unconditional.  I know that no matter what, my mother's love will always be with me.

What I didn't realize was all that she have given to me in the past 27 years.  I have only been a mother for less than 5 months, but, although I love Dani more that anything else in the world, loving her is hard work.  It means worrying about her 24 hours a day.  Feeling responsible for every hurt or sad emotion that she has.  Listening to every peep at night, hoping she is okay.  As kid (or a 27 year old kid), you believe moms are superheros.  That their love is easy.  Now, I know that even now, my mom has a tough job.  She has me.

So, this Mother's Day, I am so much more appreicative of my mom and moms everywhere.  Thanks, mom!
