Lazy Sunday Entry
It's a lazy Sunday. Well, not so lazy really since I've been up since 6 am. I've exercised, cooked and went to my parents house for my mom's birthday cookout. Now I'm back home and I'm watching chick flicks and going through some older stories. Toward the end of my previous writing life, I wrote a series of short stories that were very generic. So generic in fact that I realized that they could easily be used in just about any genre with a very simple tweaking. So that, my friends, is what I think I'm going to do. There are a couple of stories that I love that I'm going to change up slightly but still keep the generic quality. Right now, it looks like they will be heading to a glee-rific tweaking.
I have to say that after being away from writing for a very long time, I am thrilled to actually be feeling the desire to write again. Writing has always been my outlet and it was my biggest comfort during the last years of my difficult marriage and then the divorce that followed. However, life became very complicated a couple of years ago and I found that I no longer had the desire to write (even though I seriously needed an outlet). Well now life is still complicated. Actually, it may even be more complicated than before. But I have realized how much I need to write when life is like this. I also plan to begin using this journal as ..... a journal! And while I realize that 99% of the people that I was connected to through livejournal before are no longer on here, I hope to lure a couple back (Ing!) and maybe make some new friends in the process.
So onto the Glee fics.....and hopefully some Breakout Kings fics soon too.
