Walt Disney was a Cheapskate

Animation fans probably already knew about this one, but the rest of you are about to have your minds blown.

That's right, the Disney animation department recycled animations from one movie to the next. Technically, it looks like they recycled footage for rotoscoping (drawing over live footage, for those of you who don't know what that is). And although it might look like Robin Hood is the worst offender when it comes to recycled material, there's far worse in the Disney film vaults.

The Sword in the Stone didn't just reuse some reference material from older films, it flat-out recycles actual animations and voice tracks from itself! As well as having three different voice actors for Arthur for some reason. But yeah, I've done my part in revealing a Secret Of Animation to the greater world. Or something.

Special thanks to users kickedinthenuts105 and CapnLexCrunch for actually going and editing together all these clips and putting it up on YouTube so I could go and embed them in my blog.
