Did I mention that every time I step out of the car, my glasses fog up?
Today I wore one of my new shirts. It's one of those intentionally wrinkled shirts that you twist into a ball and it comes out with wrinkles like mini pleats. A neat thing about it is that you can pack it fearlessly, and the wrinkles actually make it more fitted. Well, you know how you can steam out wrinkles? My shirt is now only vaguely rumpled looking, and kind of baggy. I'm guessing they don't sell that style of shirt in the tropics.
I've been feeling slightly under the weather the past few days, and today I have to finally admit that I'm sick. It must be parasites from walking on the beach barefoot. [note to Parental Units: kidding]. It's one of those icky head colds. I figure I can sleep in tomorrow morning and then maybe eat lots of spicy food for lunch to clear out the sinuses. Strangely enough, it may help to spend time on the balcony and breathe warm, humid air.
Today a few of us went to dinner with some Important People. More on this later, but at one point during dinner, I reliazed that there was something very familiar about the music playing, though it was definitely played with Asian instruments... Why do I know this music...it's so familiar... Oh. My. God.
