Ok. True story. SO. The other day (Tuesday, to be exact) my manager Jason asked me to get a package for the resturaunt at Fed Ex/Kinkos. I said "absolutely" and went and did it. So I park, go into kinko's, and they're like "we don't have anything for you..." Ok...So I go back to my car and hear a whoooooshing sound. Yes, that's right, my front drivers tire is flat. FLAT!!!!! Ok. So I go back in to use their phone, but it's not working, so I walk down the plaza to use a phone at the dollar store. Tell my manager that a) they don't have a package for us and b) I will be late due to my tire. So I walk out to go put the spare tire on my car (because I can do that. I've become super awesome.) and realize that my passanger front tire is flat too!!! OH joy! So I go back into kinko's to cry in their bathroom, where my other Manager Mark happens to be. He didn't know Jason sent me, and Rebecca (another manager) told him our package was ready. Turns out it WAS, but they thought I meant a Fed Ex package, not a Kinko's package (which is what it was). He asks if I need a ride to work, but at that point I had called Dave to come and look at the tires and drive me back to work. Needless to say, I ended up crying in a Kinko's Bathroom, clocking into work an hour late (I was early to work and we can't clock in early, so I hadn't clocked in before I went off on this adventure), and I got some new tires yesterday and got it fixed. It's been a great week, I tell ya.
In other news, the roommate I had who was moving to TN is now staying here, so wants me to get an apt with her again. Now, now that I've made up my mind to move back to MI in the (hopefully spring) or (maybe) summer, this isn't so awesome anymore. I don't want to leave her in a lurch, but I want to save any extra money that I may get for my move. So I'm stuck between a rock and a hardplace. Hm.
Been drawing a looootttttt more, and am pretty excited with what I've done. Finished some art swap drawings with Amanda and Sam, and finished Darcy's drawing (and will have that sent out, hun, I SWEAR!!!!) If any of you wants me to draw something I will! I need the practice anyway, why not make cool shit for my friends? LOL Don't except Van Gogh, though.
