its been a while, huh?
So let's see...since the last time i wrote on LJ (which was last summer), a lot has changed. I'm not in college right now, for about 2 or 3 reasons that all relate to eachother.
First, I couldn't go up to NYC broke, so i needed to get a decent summer job. But unfortunatley since my great grandma past away last may, my grandma wasn't in any emotional stable condition to live by herself, so i was obligated to stay with her and take care of her. This meant that my summer was spent, not working and getting extra cash, but cooking and cleaning and basically being a house slave for my grandma...God will bless me for my righteous actions sooner or later.
To this day, i'm still helping out my grandma, but i also got 2 extra jobs now. I work full-time at Arby's (whoo-hoo...sarcasm) and i am a part-time model. Yes, this bitch is modeling. I have another photo shoot for my resume on the 22nd.
It's been about 7 or 8 months since I started being by grandma's side, and i think that she's getting better (finally), so it's about time to leave this God-forsaken state of Kentucky and finally move back to New York City. I don't know how my grandma or the rest of my family's gonna take it, so i've decided to take a little baby step. By the end of this month, i'm planning on moving out this house and live with an old friend of mine for a couple of months, keep saving money, and by march, i'll be in New york City living with my cousin on my dad's side, who actually, has great hatred against my dad, more than i do, which is alright with me.
Orme is supposed to get you ready for college, but they never said anything about them getting you ready for the real world without college, and it's a fucking struggle. This may be the reason why i kinda regret not goin to a public school, where you're more closer to the world than you would be at Orme, in the middle of fucking nowhere. Orme doesn't teach you how to survive on the streets of a big city. They teach you how to survive in a secluded area where you know everyone and everyone knows you. I figured out that i lost my touch after i graduated. You can't be nice to every single person you meet, cuz they just might be crazy as hell. You can't trust everyone or sometimes anyone. Remember that little ones of Orme. :-) ok i'm done.
