Writer's Block: First Things First
My first love would be my second boyfriend, Justin. He was a great friend, climbing the ladder of friendship in less than a year. He was dating one of my friends then suddenly wasn't. I had seen how everything had effected him and I waited the customary couple months before I approached the topic of him and I. I explained that I was interested and he said he was too. We started dating. We fell in love, to put it simply. He got diagnosed with diabetes and kind of had a meltdown. He started ignoring me. Walking down the halls at school and he wouldn't look me in the eye, wouldn't talk. I was fielding so many questions from so many people. It was nuts. Finally, last day of junior year, I told him "I love you" and he just turned and walked away. I decided then and there that I was done and could find someone that could treat me well. Turns out he had started cheating on me. Had a one night stand with one of our friends. He told me about it last year when he stopped by my house and went on a drive with me. We seem to be OK but we will never be like we were. I haven't talked to him in months. Doubt I will again, honestly. I think I put him off. Oh well, more fish in the sea.... course I'm lacto-ovo so I guess it'd be more sea vegetables in sea?
