Competition Time Folks :)
Really, this post is just an excuse to plug TWG prompt for Jan and December. Most of you know that I started a site back in September to archive complete fanfiction and original works, and to bring together writers. Because I was so sick of the bitching across other forums I created my own forum with the help of bb1128. That and I had stopped smoking and needed something to do before I ate the carpet.
Well, this month on TWG, thanks to maxandkiz we're having a wee competition to write a story for any fandom or original piece using the prompt word COLD.
I love this word for a number of reasons, but mostly because the dictionary definition of it made me laugh my ass off.
COLD: ~* having or being a temperature that is uncomfortably low for humans *~
That's such a great definition!! I know some of you Supernatural writers out there will have a frigging ball with that one!! Especially you limpers! Let me count the ways thou can freeze poor Sam Winchester to death to near fatal peril.
The closing date for the competition is the 31st January, and for the lucky winner, maxandkiz has generously offered a prize - an 8x10 picture of Sam and Dean Winchester from Supernatural. It is the # SNMISC35 picture on the site. Hopefully, it will give a little incentive to join in the fun and get involved in some writing over the christmas period.
To join, firstly write your story, post it to fanfiction, Lj or even TWG site itself. To be considering in the runnings for the competition you must post the link to your story HERE. At the end of the month maxandkiz will open a vote to the entire board and everyone will vote for the story they want to win. Easy as pie.
