Nesting??
T is gone this weekend, on a boys only camping trip. I guess it's been raining the whole time and he's way miserable. Poor boy :(
I took the opportunity to start completely cleaning the house. I've sorted through all my clothes, stuff to donate, stuff to pack away for the summer, stuff that I wear. I did all my laundry, except for a 1/2 load left which I'll finish up when I have more clothes. I bought a flat of vegetable plants at the farmer's market and a bunch of pots at Wal-Mart and planted a whole bunch of them, I need to finish that. But Alex was tres awesome and came over to start the lawnmower. Unfortunately it ran out of gas with about 3 rows of the front yard left. Oh well, it's by the street on the hill and isn't as visible as the rest of it. Yesterday I weed whacked a bunch of the backyard which was strangely fun and cathartic.
Sorting out the piles and piles of pictures and buying photo albums, cleaning the bathroom, reorganizing the kitchen and general picking up around the house rounded out the weekend. There's still so much more stuff I want to do, but at least this is a really good start. I think I'm going to make up a list for myself for this week. One task each night to really get things organized. Keep myself on track and all that.
I can't wait until T gets home tomorrow. I miss him muchly and the bed and house feel so empty without him. I'm such a dork. But I do love him :)
