I'd have to say I'm a bit behind you number-wise, but Ragtime and The Sun Also Rises were both good.

I've read seven of those titles. But as my last post indicates, I don't normally go out of my way to read what's considered "The Best".

what the fuck, the watchmen is on there? READ THAT! demand your libary get comic books and read that!

oh, and the sun also rises is absolutely fantastic, especially when you hold in mind an image of your castrated pets.

Ya know, I just can't get into comic books. I am not entirely sure what it is about them, they're just not my style. I don't know if it's the sci-fi aspect of it that I don't particularly like or what.

But as for semi-sci-fi books, I did just finish Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood. Great great novel. And that's two recommendations for The Sun Also Rises, so I guess I'll have to check that out!

I dislike scifi, in novels or movies, but I admit to a weakness when it comes to comics. However, there are a number of good comics that either transcend the genre or are just good straight literary fiction. Watchmen transcends and makes necessary the genre, and has to be taken seriously by everyone. read it. love it.
